Ted asked if Sabrina wanted to go to the beach. She gladly said “Yes!” She has always been an outdoors person. They have been dating for one year. He’s been showering her with lots of love, flowers, date nights, etc.
Ted seemed odd today on the drive to the beach. He seemed nervous and stressed. Sabrina sensed his energy but didn’t say much.
As they walked on the sandy beach at sunset, Ted said, “Let’s run and race to the pier! Ready. Set. Go.”
Ted ran quickly ahead, and suddenly turned around, kneeled down on one knee, and pulled out a jewelry box from Tiffany’s!
“Sabrina, you are the love of my life, my best friend, my soul mate. I love our candlelit baths, writing words on each other’s backs. I love waking up with you next to me. I love watching movies together. I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you marry me?”
Fast forward to their wedding day. As Sabrina walked down the aisle, she’s so nervous to recite their own written vows in front of all their friends and family.
The officiant turned to Ted to instruct him to proceed. “I, Ted, promise to love, support, and encourage you to be your best self and reach your highest potential.”
The officiant, turned to Sabrina to instruct her to continue.
“I, Sabrina, promise to love myself as much as I love you, and to never expect you to complete me.”
What was in your wedding vow if you’re married?
What will you promise for the future on your wedding day if you are single?
~ Love you more ❤️
