My mom was a high school math teacher in Taiwan.
She was very strict.
I am the 3rd daughter of the family.
I have two older sisters before me then a younger brother who passed away due to accident.
My mom is a very traditional Chinese woman.
She met my dad in junior high school in Taipei.
She married him when she was 19.
She had to cook for 20 family members of my dad’s.
Thus, She now cooks the best authentic Chinese meals.
She knows how to bake moon cakes, various pastries, buns, dumplings, etc.
And also she learned Western food like filet mignon, macaroni and cheese, or anything my daughters would love to eat.
She became a very devoted housewife and quit her job after having children.
She sacrificed her own dreams and passions to take care of us the best way possible.
She’s now in Taiwan with my dad. She’s a devoted mom and wife.
My mom is a very private person. She wouldn’t appreciate it if I posted her photo online.
Therefore. I am posting my favorite picture of my two girls, when they were 5 & 7.
I love you, mom!
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there!
You are the miracle workers behind each family.
How are you celebrating Mother’s Day this year?
~ Love you more ❤️
