Show me the money!
Did you know~
The reported losses to the Federal Trade Commission for romance scams hit a record of $547 million in 2021.
Online dating can be a great way to find lasting love.
In fact, it’s reported at a 12% success rate that couples get into committed relationships.
Meanwhile, we need to raise awareness of the scammers on online dating sites.
They often create fake profiles with super attractive photos..
They always create excuses of not meeting in person.
They would direct you to a different app or a local number.
They would postpone meeting and start create excuses of them in a foreign location.
And that they have no access to their money..
And then asking for money.
They’d slowly get you hooked on first being romantic with consistent texts, video chats, etc..
They prey on the innocent, compassionate & empathetic people.
But the underlying theme is majority of these scammers can’t meet you in person..
They may even go as far as getting you hooked on virtual intimacy..
Then..
Sharing nude photos..
Then finally-
Threatening you
For money..
Raising awareness is the key to avoid being scammed.
Opportunities to be scammer are everywhere, not just through online dating..
If it happened to you, YOU are NOT alone.
Many of my clients got scammed before they joined my coaching program..
You just need to know the steps to avoid being scammed
And to heal the part of yourself so you won’t attract these scammers in the future.
